"We cannot tell the precise moment when friendship is formed. As in filling a vessel drop by drop, there is at last a drop which makes it run over; so in a series of kindnesses there is at last one which makes the heart run over." Ray Bradbury
Love the quote, elijah13. Thanks for sharing and have a splendid day!

Interesting quote from a scifi author. Was that from Noon Wine? It was the one non-scifi book he wrote. It had an interesting anecdote about a grandma who was a fabulous cook but her kitchen and pantry were in total shambles all the time. Her grandkids thought it would be a nice present to give her to arrange her kitchen neatly. After that her cooking never tasted as good.

I just get all my sayings from "wherever". If it's a good one, I either save it or write it down to be used later.

It's a good practice to pursue wisdom, Elijah. I wish I had a notebook with sayings that struck me as exceptional. I always think I'll remember them but I don't.

I have 5 "journal-like" notebooks with quotes that have moved me and I have an empty one to start with more quotes soon! Have a great day, pixipixil!
