Found this one a delight to do and how interesting to see each country's different currency, I once went to Turkey thought I was a very rich, alas the amount I had would not have bought me a bar of chocolate.
But yes the money of different country's is very interesting. Thank you yet again for learning us these different things.
Italy's money used to be that way too - a 1000 Lira note was worth about 80 cents (US) in the early 1990's. To buy anything, you needed 50, 000 and 100, 000 Lira notes - and the cashiers would often be weary and check the various anti-counterfeiting measures in the note.
