We lived in FL eight years ago and never went to Everglades. We had enough gators, snakes, scorpions etc. where we lived without going looking for them. LOL
Hi Hockeyfan, Yes, we've had Water Moccasins, alligators and all sorts of wildlife in our backyard at the old house; we were on a lake. Never came across scorpions. Loved coming home late at night and seeing the family of deer romping through the back yard. :)) Getting to bed early tonight. We came in last night at 12:30am and didn't get to bed till 2am. :( Really tired today. Have a great night. :)

Hi tomandray, wow, it might take a couple days to get rested completely. It always does me when we travel. It's fun to go places and visit family/friends but always nice to get home in your own bed. Glad you don't have all the everglade critters now that you have moved from the lake area. Computer still hanging in there, but must get my mind made up. Hope you have rested a bit today. Have a great evening. :)

Hi Hockeyfan, Company left early this afternoon, they're back on the road for the 4th time in a month. Today is clean out the suite case, strip down the beds and do laundry. Rested up this morning. VA was a beautiful place. Saw the Blue Ridge Mts., went driving around. Would have stayed longer if I had the time. Will have to go back. :)) My hubby purchased a "new" computer while I was away, his died. We knew it was going. It's a laptop, so when we travel it's an easy take-a-long. :) Have a great day.

Hi tomandray.....sounds as if you made the trip by yourself. You are one brave sole. I used to travel to FL and back by myself several years ago. Not so brave anymore. Yes, the Blue Ridge Mountains are beautiful as well as VA. I've had my computer for several years. Things haven't been working right on it for a few months now. Guess it's time for a new one........someday soon. Glad your rested up. :)

Hi Hockeyfan, OH-NO, the company of my "sis" and niece made the trip much better. Good company always a must for a long trip. Did travel by myself when I was much younger, back in the 70's-80's-90's. :))) Much braver then. :) Still drying the laundry at 8:30pm. It's the black hole of laundry baskets..It doesn't end. :( Have a great evening. :)

Hi tomandray, so glad you weren't alone. Today, I did laundry. Regular clothes, plus mattress pad, sheets, rugs, towels.....as you say "the black hole of laundry baskets". That's all done, so just enjoying my puzzles. Have a great night as well. :)

Hi Hockeyfan, You to doing laundry. :( I have dark cloths to do on Monday and the dishwasher to run. We seem to have a leak under the kitchen sink, so did not run it tonight. Have to fix the leak first. Have a great night. :)

Hi CatLadyOKC, yes king size beds are tough to make. Lucky you with help doing laundry. My hubby knows how to wash and dry the clothes, but sure can't fold or hang things on hangers. He might just do that on purpose to get out of the job all together. Do you suppose?

Sounds like mine, he can get it in the washer and then the dryer, but I get to do the hanging and folding. Do make him help with the bedding. Sounds like they may have something going...

Mine helps with making the beds, that's a big job for me. He does help with the drying too and pulling the towels and sheets out of the dryer. Sometimes I just can't reach because of my back.

My hubby broke his neck (C5/C6) in '89 they told him that he would never walk again, but he did started out with 2 load bearing crutches, then went many year without them, but last few years he needs one of the crutches, and rides the auto card in the large stores. He doesn't make it upstairs as much now, but still can do it.

Oh my goodness CatLadyOKC. So sorry to hear of your hubby's unfortunate accident. From the sounds of it, it is wonderful that he is getting around and does the things he does. :)
Interesting puzzle! We vacationed once in Florida and spent sometime in Everglades, even took an airboat ride and fed some alligators. Interesting place but not one I would like to go back to.
Thank you team I enjoyed the challenge on this one and I thoroughly enjoyed it, although I thought you might have put a crocodile hide-ing in the edge, I believe that is where most of are in the everglades, or so I am told. Have a great week-end and enjoy the sun while we have it.L O L Santa.
