Time officially went back an hour today here in the USA, which it does around this time every year. Getting an extra hour of sleep makes a big difference. I wish it would stay on this time frame instead of springing forward in the Spring and then falling back in the Fall. I don't like this going back and forth on the time at at all.
I'm with you, tshepherd! I have 22 clocks to change and 3 that are automatic. It's a royal pain twice a year and the change serves no purpose, either. It's a hangover from WWII - and it didn't do much then, either!
Here in the UK, we reverted back to GMT last weekend!
I love the 'lighter mornings' at this time of year, but not very keen on the suddenly 'much darker evenings'. Leaving work in the dark and having to stand while waiting for a bus to get home isn't very pleasant.
'Roll on mid-January' when we start to notice the changes back to something more pleasant :-).
How appropriate for a clock for change the clock day. My husband turned out clocks back on our night stands and when we awoke only to find out it was a hour off!! Our clocks did it automatically, We only had 15 minutes to get ready for church to be on time but we did it and I even looked pretty good! Wheewww!! Church service was off the hook today. Our Pastor was wound up this morning with a Huge Great Message. " The Way You Live Is What You Believe" Want to know if you are a true Christian? How are you living everyday?
In Az we do not have to change the time so that makes it easier for me!! When I lived on the East coast I got so tired of turning clocks forward and backward every year! Not really a big deal for some but for me, one of those little annoying things to do!! lol
