That was really easy. Going to the movies today to see a movie based on a man who stood up to the Nazis. It looks like a good movie. My husband loves anti-Nazi movies. He and I are both part German but he's also got Jewish roots. His father converted so we're Christian but he has more than casual sympathy for the plight of those caught in Hitler's web.
Have an interesting day. I'll let you know how the movie was.
Pixipixel, which movie is it and how did you like it? A Hidden Life looks good.

It was very long and boring. The scenery was magnificent, but there was little dialog and a ton of watching people throwing hay at eachother and plowing or doing other farm work. It was in English with the Nazi harangues in German and untranslated. There were several clips of Hitler in B & W. I think the director was looking to convey the story by emersing the audience in the life at that time. It just ended being tedious. The whole thing could have been told in 15 minutes. Instead it dragged on for 3 hours. It was not inspiring...just a man cought in a historical moment that caused him to be executed for holding true to his conscience despite almost unanimous opinion that he should give in.

Glad I asked! I'll skip this one. Maybe on Netflix far into the future if I'm in the right mood. (throwing hay...LOL! )
I think I'll try something like this. It will be trial and error, I'm sure!
