My father liked all kinds of fishing. He even taught me to tie my own flies. We loved fishing with dad. I miss it. I don't get to fish anymore so its a beautiful memory that I go to often. Have a peaceful, beautiful day! :-)
I love this puzzle and I just had the most wonderful surprise
my nephew that I asked you all to pray for came for a little visit
it's made my day
he has cancer
it's in his blood, liver and pancreas
the dr. says they can't do surgery please keep praying
I never fly fished, but my aunt taught me to "jigger" the pole. Somehow the movement attracted the fish to the bait. I don't fish any more since practicing veganism. I'm sure those Alaskan fish are pure, though. When I was still eating fish, Alaskan halibut was my favorite--very mild, no fishy taste.
Patricia, there's nothing quite like standing in the middle of the stream, casting for silver salmon, with a bear wandering by on the bank. It will always be one of my favorite memories up here in Alaska.
I must say the same. I think of the times we waded up a cold stream in Oregon. The water was so clear I didn't think there could be fish in it or I would see them. Dad caught some nice trout. I caught nothing. Guess you must have faith without sight.

Where in Oregon? I live on the southwest border of WA, have done a fair amount of fishing in both states!

Eugene, in the Willamette Valley. Beautiful!! Of course I was only 17 and focused on other things at the time. How sad - what a waste of such beauty.

It can't have been a complete waste if you still recognize the beauty.
