This was a mystery one but new to me. Also had a phone call so took much longer than usual.

I've been lucky to have been to Florence twice. You really need to see the Basilica to appreciate the size. I believe they have pedestrianized the surrounding streets since I went - very difficult to cross the road before. Lovely views of the city from the village of Fiesole in the hills.

I would have loved to have visited here when I could afford (fiscally and physically) to have gone. Italy can take quite some time to see much of it that most people would want to see - Naples, Rome, Venice, Milan, Genoa, Tuscany, Florence, etc.
