Flower Salad Jigsaw Puzzle

It looks like hyacinth but I didn't think you could eat them.

I know we can eat nasturtiums, but have no idea what an edible blue flower would be.

I think these look like Hyacinths, which, as a flower, you can not eat.

I don't think it's an actual flower. I zoomed all the way in and I think it's some kind of food tinted blue and then shaped to look like flower petals, kind of like how the bow is made from a carrot. Couldn't figure out what kind of food it is though.

Okay, here's my guess. I think they took a bunch of hard boiled eggs. They riced the yolks and maybe one white to make the yellow background. Then they took the whites, put them through an egg slicer and dyed them that pretty blue. It's as good of a guess as any. :)

I think it's a fake flower, ha! The descriptive words to the left inc dude "eggs" - I think the bed is finely shredded eggs (yellow and white), the leavers may be celery strips, the bow is a carrot, obviously...and I can't figure out exactly what the blue parts, but it looks squeezed out, like frosting. It would be weird to put frosting on an egg salad...so I' don't know! But it doesn't;t look like petals. I'm going to look up "fun food" and see if it's there!
