Lovely flowers and a very nice puzzle. I hope all of you will have a very good day. I will be off later to the rehab hospital that my husband is in to learn how to get around without falling. He is stubborn, but I know he can do this. If he doesn't keep his weight off the injured leg, he will have to have another surgery. When he fell last week, and I found this out yesterday, he dislocated his ankle, broke a bone in his foot, and broke his tibia near his ankle. He did a lot a damage and he can't put any weight or pressure on that leg. It is going to be a long haul, but I have faith that his can do it. Blessings to all and have a wonderful day.

Falling seems to be the bane of all the seniors I know. So many had to go into nursing homes because they kept injuring themselves. Saying a prayer for you both that you find a way to keep your balance.

I suffer for your husband, as I have a broken foot and LIFE IS NO FUN!!! Can't put wieght on it until end of April, if lucky. Should your dearest ot follow instructions, he's looking at surgery after surgery and possibly, being confined to a wheelchair for the rest of his life. I pray for both of you!

Nhoward, Still praying he will be encouraged to work hard. I broke my leg once and I was in my wheelchair. I was in the laundry room closet reaching for some cloths with my reacher. I had a lap full of cloths in my lap and didn't realize how far I was reaching forward and tipped over. I yelled for Sam. He looked and said my right leg was under my wheelchair. He pulled me out and straightened my leg and put me in my chair. Since I couldn't feel anything I went on with things like a shower and bed. After a day or so I it looked odd so went to hospital and it was a clean break and not displaced. I was really lucky. I was in the hospital a few days and they wrapped it and put a boot on it and not a cast since I couldn't walk anyway. I was about 50. Sam will never let me live that down. He loves to talk to people and pick on me. He is a mess!
I bought an amaryllis in a glass planter with glass 'gravel' to hold the bulb in place. It was an amazing buy. $4 for everything and I got two flushes of bloom from it. It went dormant thn put out leaves and two more flowers maybe 6 months later. I had to transfer it to a larger containrer and the bubl just keeps getting bigger--it's 4.5 inches across now with leaves but no flower for over a year. The leaves are starting to die. If it lives to the ummer I plan to put it in the ground and let it have a season of "freedom" then let the cold take it.
