MY family LOVED strawberries and had a field of them. Our town formerly had a strawberry festival dedicated to them for quite a few years, because Deary, Idaho was considered the strawberry capital of the world until the crops "fizzled-out". Then we had to have them shipped in from Walla Walla, WA thereafter for our remaining festivals.
Mmm--lucious strawberries! The best ones I ever tasted came from a friend who brought them to me from the Pismo Beach area--sort of Calif. central coast. They were huge and so sweet--almost like candy! It would be a long drive for me from Arizona to get more--maybe I will check the Internet to see about it--do you suppose they will mail them from some exquisite farm?
