Years ago when I taught Kindergarten we had a garden and planted carrots. Things we did many years ago can't be done now--SO SAD!

In our area, the elementary schools are now planting small gardens so the children can learn about growing their own food, as well as good nutrition. There still is hope!

School doesn't seem fun for kids like it used to be. We got everything taught and still had "fun" times which you seldom have now. I still talk to teachers and these are the things they tell me--not like it used to be and we got everything taught also. School used to be fun--NOT NOW!

Lately I've been using the bags of baby carrots for tossed salads. I slice them, three at a time --- easy!

Wish I had a couple of bunches of these carrots to feed all the many horses in the riding stables on my street and families that own horses all around in this area. Took me too long, so did it two more times and saved two seconds!!! Good jigsaw puzzle today.
