When Spring comes it will be a big re-leaf to me, as well as to the trees. We had lower 70's yesterday, but it is much cooler in Ohio, USA today. I don't mind the snow in winter, but do not care for ice - except in my iced tea.
I like a spring ice storm as long as it doesn't bring down wires and melts off before noon. The whole place turns into a remarkable crystal palace. It ent-ices me to go out to take photos.
Few trees have lost all their leaves here which will be bad if we get snow (possible this week).

Pixipixil, please stop writing 3 and 4 letter words in your comments, like sn*w and ic*. It will come soon enough. I really down't mind the sn*w, but don't care for the ic* when I have to go anywhere.

We have finally gotten a hard frost. That's 5 letters so I hope you can deal with it. ;-) That can be hazardous too. We almost went off a mountain because of it. I think the asterisks look like flakes. Maybe you should use a different spacer. Here's a question to ponder. Why are they called icicles and not icetites? (like stalagtites) They aren't round and you can't ride them.

Good question Pixipixil, You are right. They SHOULD be called Iceites or icetites.
Autumn is finally here too, we actually had some good rain this week, not as much as we need but it's a start. An hour here, an hour later on, for a couple of days. Temperatures much more bearable, too!
Wishing all my puzzle pals a happy and peaceful week.
We don't see the changing of the colors but the westher is more bearable. It's has gotten cooler - the days were so scorching hot!

We had a little rain here too but not enough to fill the streams and lakes. Our leaves are turning color and falling everywhere. I just swept off my off back deck and it getting covered again. Jake loved this time of year.

We we did see the seasons change - this time of year I think of soup, chili and stews. Wasn't too happy with our new puppy the other night. She lies on the floor and sleeps. I got up to pick her up to take her to bed. I tried to pick her up and she took her back foot and bring it up. She took her head and reached behind and snapped and gently bit me. Then hubby says oh she wasn't intentionally trying to bite you. She didn't break the skin but it's the snapping at me that I didn't like.

Perhaps you should have made sure she was fully awake before you picked her up. Speak to her first, stroke her, make sure she knows it's you. They say to let sleeping dogs lie, maybe that's why.

She did wake up when I picked her up. She displaying behavior that we don't like. Our neighbor tried to pet her one day. She was growling at the woman. Interesting that these other neighbors dogs will growl and they'll just stand their and say nothing. Then they'll ask me if my dog bites and is agressive.
Took a lot longer working this one! Still recovering from knee replacement (week 7). Husband is out raking leaves and burning them. I love to rake and be out there but can't walk on un- level ground yet! It has been getting really cold now and frost most mornings. Our garden is still producing a little so had fresh beets and greens tonight. Will pick some swisschard tomorrow. I love fresh greens!
