Have done this before, but reminded me of my Teddy that I had to put down a few years back. Came from a house on the next street and liked my house better so his "mother" let me keep her.

It was terrible! there were so many fireworks going off and scaring the dog and cat and it went on for a week too!

Yes Toadalove, same here. We stay home because of our "little girl", Maine Coon cat. She gets so upset when she hears all the noise over the lake; we live by a lake. Some of the neighbors that live on the lake fire-off fireworks over the lake on the 4th and on New Year's Eve. So we stopped going out and just invite the next door neighbors over. We have our own fun and our girlie joins the party with us. Take care. :)
