The garden tools in this online jigsaw puzzle have recently been used. The well worn handle of the trowel and healthy plants growing nearby indicate that their owner is a skilled gardener.
I, for one, am looking forward to getting my hands back into the dirt in my flower beds. This year I am going to start a small herb garden, too. The small plot of herbs I grew when I was working ended up as a weedy bunch of ding weeds about three years after it's planting. Now, all I have is free time. Weeds should not thrive now.
When I had a garden, I loved working in it --- if I had the time. If not, it was a chore, squeezed in. Depends on the weather too --- it it's beastly hot, it is not fun.
Ladybugs are supposed to be death for aphids but I noticed rather than kill them they create a farm with them so they can eat the sweet stuff the aphids produce. Maybe those were beetles that were similar but not exactly ladybugs but they sure looked like them.
Wishing you a day of accurate observation.
Hi pixi, there are two types of lady bugs and one type are very destructive. I think they have 31 dots on them, so have fun counting the black dots :) They are those that form alliances with other nasty bugs. Take care. Hugs.

I just read that there are about 5, 000 different varieties of ladybugs.

We cut down the infested tree long ago as it also got infected with a particularly ugly fungus that had no cure, so that took care of all those bugs.
Is there anyone in the puzzle world who dislikes gardening as much as I do? To me it's a form of torture. Occasionally I'll pick a weed out of the lawn, or gather up stray leaves, but that's as far as my Master Gardening goes. Would rather have my nose in a book, or dabble on the computer. Don't like dirt under my nails and I don't like wearing gloves. Bah humbug!
Hahaha micki - it is not so much the garden I love, but do like to see things grow and flower etc. We each get out pleasures from different things and I say viva la difference :) Hugs.

That should read "gardening" not "garden" because I do love my garden.
