This online jigsaw puzzle is perfect for both adults and kids. In this photo, a purple geranium takes the spotlight with dark green leaves acting as the perfect background.
Pretty flower. Having lunch with my sister today and picking up my husband's ashes afterward. I am so glad she will be with me. This is one part I really dread. I made it through my first week. Thank you again for all your prayers and support during this difficult time. I love each and every one of you. God bless each one on here.
I hope your day went well today and you felt God's loving arms around you. We love you and I pray you never feel alone. God Bless.

Oh my, mamag15. I hope you are doing better this month (March 2019). Remember you are not alone--never, ever. Find comfort in those precious, shared moments that you had together. These memories will never leave you and are there whenever you wish to re-explore them. Try to keep socially active and connected. You are important and loved. Blessings!

I am trying to get out a little more. I still will have my bad days. I am still adjusting to being called a 'widow." It just sounds so unreal. I know I am not the only one but it wil take time to adjust.

Think of "widow" as window, just without the 'n.' Windows are important because they allow the light to come the inside, where otherwise it would be dark without artificial lighting. It is said that the eyes are the window of the soul. You, then, are the "window, " connecting the spiritual realm with the physical, concrete one, between your departed loved one and what he left behind, this ever-changing, physical world. Feel good about serving in that capacity as a "widow." Blessings!

Thank you vmarie. I guess I never looked at that way.
In addition to its astringent qualities, the geranium also has soothing qualities and is helpful in relieving symptoms of anxiety as well as PMS and menopausal symptoms. The geranium is reputed to help heal bruises, cuts and scrapes, eczema, hemorrhoids, nail fungus and sunburns as well as help with insomnia and varicose veins. --howtomakedo.net
If I could find a purple geranium, I would have a whole bunch planted in the front garden! I wonder if they labeled these incorrectly? Blessings to all.
I see from other quotes that you can find them in the northeast. I am going to look for them here in the Midwest. It can't hurt!

We have a similar one that grows wild here in Alaska. You don't want it to get into your garden!

Well, we checked it out and no one is selling them for less than $10 a seedling. A little steep for my tastes, but that is a beautiful flower/plant....oh well.
