This puzzle was really hard.....Well enjoyed this evening with our family. They finally made it here and will be leaving around noon today. We all sat around the table and played a couple card games. Three year old grandson has been shy with me but tonight he brought me a toy that had gotten broken. I was so happy. His dad had to glue it. Then later when we were playing cards he was standing by me and I asked him if he wanted to sit on my lap and he did so I gave my card to him to put in the middle when it was time and every one would say "Yeh". I asked his mother if he had ever done that before and she said "no". When it was his time I said "good job". We really had fun. They are leaving tomorrow around noon so they can get home before midnight. I told them to be careful on the roads because a lot of people will be doing the same thing. Everyone have a "Happy New Year".
What a lovely blessing for all of you - the gift of family celebrating together! May 2022 bring more opportunities to do so!

I hope so, but people still aren't getting it that their actions are keeping this flu will continue killing people if they don't comply with the experts in science. Like this evening thousands got together for the new year and weren't wearing masks and may not have had their shots. Yea, people may get upset with me but look at the facts. Like in New York City they said they were to wear masks but I watched a lot weren't. Just watch the next few days and see how there will another mass that wil come down with Covid and the new one. I love America and would like to keep it a good place for people to come but that isn't happening any more. I know people don't like shots. Who does. I had my booster one the other day when we went shopping at Walmart. They aren't hard to get like trying to get an appointment. The only side effect I had was with one I hade a few chills long after I was in bed and I just through the covers over my head and went back to sleep. I will quit my rant but people "Do it so we can get on with our lives in peace".
Your comments are very welcome, haystack, please join in often! I used to just read the comments and not take part, but it's really fun. Happy New Year to you. xo

Beautiful but took a while. Usually we do Christmas Eve but everyone is in town but very scattered. My niece is bringing Christmas Dinner to her mothers house (my sister) tomorrow because my sister and her husband can't do stairs anymore. I live across the street from them so it's easy for me. Then we will celebrate "Christmas" with a big dinner party at Carrabba's on Monday night. Crazy this year but it really doesn't bother me. I just "go with the flo". However they want to do it is fine with me.
