I have never seen a clear teapot. Think I will go fix a pot of tea.

I have one, with an insert that holds loose-leaf tea. Really enjoy using it - you can see just how much the tea has steeped and remove all the leaves at one time. Not good if you're trying to read your fortune in the tea leaves...

I LOVE tea, especially ICED tea. It reminds me of having a CLOSE friend in Jesus---a TRULY, REFRESHING BLESSING just like COOL and CRISP ICED TEA.

Isn't it odd how our sensitivities change over time? When I was young, I adored the scent of lilacs. My grandmother had a large bush just outside of her dining room window and I waited all winter for springtime to bring it to life. I would stand by the window and breath in the aroma that to me meant that warm lazy days were just ahead. But as I've grown older I find the scent rather cloying and sometimes overwhelming. Or maybe, it's just the sorrow that comes from knowing that my grandmother, her house and the lilac bush are gone forever.

Dear fropo, what a lovely story - such a talent to be able to write that way. Are you an author, if not you should be. Hugs.

Dear fropo, My mother passed away on New Year''s Eve 2009. She grew up on a tobacco farm; and her favorite memory is playing and hiding in the lilac bushes growing in front of her house. Every time I see lilacs, I am reminded of her and I feel a great deal of comfort. I pray for your comfort and peace. Take care, God's Blessings and Hugs :)

Aussiesapphire-No, I'm not a published writer (unless you count Reader's Digest or other magazines). My best friend, who went home to our Father tried to get me to submit, but I don't believe I could handle the rejection notices. When we write, we commit something of ourselves to paper. So a rejection of our work is like a rejection of ourselves.

Olamae-Thank you. My grandmother has been gone for over 30 years and her house was sold, torn down and a new, modern structure was built on the land. Blessings and hugs to you, also.

Hi fropo, please let me encourage you to submit your work and remember (as I have to do) that each rejection slip gets you one closer to where your work will be accepted and appreciated. I have been writing poetry for a long time and have submitted it to many publishers most of whom say "your work is good, but we don't know who you are" Catch 22 I's afraid. However, in the past few months my work has been published in a local newspaper, unpaid of course, but I believe that when the time is right (in God) that it will all happen. So do consider doing it - you write very well and I know lots of people would enjoy your work. Hugs.
