I've always enjoyed looking at globes, but have never owned one. I admit I didn't pay enough attention in my H.S. history class, so I'm not as aware as I should be of the different countries in the world and where they're located. Guess I was too busy passing notes to my girlfriends. LOL Did much better in other classes though, and aced Algebra class.
I'm proud of you for acing algebra! Never was good at math - I could get the right answer, but couldn't tell the teacher how I got it. And don't worry about the history - all the countries have changed names since we were in school!

If you invest in a globe, consider getting a lighted one. I love mine. I don't light it often, but love it when I do.
My family knew I would like one --- and it was a gift from them.
LOVED this way of doing these maps, pity when I was younger the teachers did not find this method of learning us to read and enjoy our work a wee bit more, but then we would not have had computers. Another big thank you for your jigsaw puzzels
