I have no problem with "feel the fear, " it's the "do it anyway" that causes me to turn to stone! lol

Not me, I don't like height at all...lived in St.Louis & at time was in an apartment of the 24th flour just where I could see them building the arch, and when it was finished was talked in two going up in it, never again, also moved to a duplex in the ground with a basement family room & laundry room, it was in the side of a small hill the front door was on the ground floor & the family room had doors to the patio. You would never get me on one of these....Don't do much better about flying either, have only done that 2 or 3 times.

I love being in an airplane, looking below at the clouds or the amazing and various scenery. I think if I were to do life over again (wouldn't really want to! ) I'd be a flight attendant. I'm like you though, and have only flown a bit. The apartment complex I live in has the lower apartments mostly in the ground. So, I live on the first floor AND on the 2nd floor! lol My apt. is over one of those I mentioned, so even though my front door is level with the sidewalk, my balcony is above another apartment, while the whole apartment is level. It's kind of weird, but I enjoy showing others.

Our house is a basic 2 story house, not balconies just a large patio that is 1 step below the back sliding doors, the garage is level with the ground, but the front porch & the house is just 1 step above it. We have a full bath & shower upstairs and the down bath has a walk in shower in it, also the laundry area is same as the rest of the house, so there is one step down to the garage & the back door is level with the door there. The yard is lower in the front than the back but you can't really tell its just a small slope up the back yard & it is much larger than the front yard. We are on a cul'-de-sac" so don't get much traffic here.

I've always liked cul-de-sacs. Less traffic being the main reason, and you can get actually get to know your neighbors, if you want! lol I like the sound of your home, especially the walk in shower, and LAUNDRY! lol I think having my own w/d is what I miss most about owning my own home. After moving 100 miles away from family, I once told my daughter I missed my w/d more than them! lol

It was nice when the kids were little, they were in 2nd & 4th grades, there is a grade school about 2-3 blocks so. of us & a middle school just at the end of our street & across the street so they could walk most of the time, have crossing at both schools. (Kids are now 42 & 44)

That really was convenient for everyone. My "kid" is 45. They'll always be our kids.

Yes!!! He will be in Tulsa for the next few days!
I may celebrate!
Rode in gondolas in Brazil and Israel. I wasn't scared then. However I was a bit younger. Probably be at least a little scared now. The older you get, the more careful you are. I also was more agile then.
