When we went to the Grand Canyon spring a year ago, I cried when I got my first glimpse of the canyon right around dusk. It was the most glorious thing I've ever seen. I still get goosebumps just thinking about it.
It is a really magnificent place, isn't it? I've seen it many times in all seasons. Never gets old. One of my favorite memories is seeing fog wind its way around the cliffs below us while the sun was rising and tinting the fog pink.

If I told you this story before just skip it...it is my insistence we visit the GC as part of a trip to see my parents when we first adopted our son. They had planned a trip and so although we were to be in AZ for 2 weeks they left 3 days b4 we were to fly home. I insisted we drive from Sierra Vista about 1 hour from the border, to the canyon. My husband fumed all the way that we were spending the etra money. The morning we got there my heart sank. It was a total whiteout. We stood at one of the lookouts and I was ready to die when all of a sudden the mist lifted like a giant curtain and revealed the canyon in all its glory. My husband could not stop thanking me.

Been praying for you and your business - take care - loving hugs.
The one day I had to go to see the Grand Canyon, it snowed. The visibility was almost nil. But for about 20 minutes the sky cleared and I was able to see in person the place that I'd seen in photos of my Ma's album. Wonderful. (But when I showed my photos, people would say "Oh - did you go skiing in Banff? " I'd say, "No. See, behind all that white? It's the Grand Canyon." LOL Someday I would love to go there again when the weather is clear!!!
This scene is at the tower, way to the east end of the park. The photos I have were taken around lunch time and the river is almost a black green. At this end the canyon isn't nearly as deep but you get a good view of the Colorado.
Wishing you all a future of good health so you can visit some of the great places in these puzzles.
Back when Super 8 movie cameras were popular, we visited the Grand Canyon and took about 5 reels of movies. When we got home we were disappointed to find that we had what looked like the same shots over and over. The beauty and grandeur just can't be captured in 2 dimensions.
Blessings.
