That looks very refreshing for a summer lunch - but not quite the 'hearty warming' type of meal that we in the Northern Hemisphere are in need of right now.
Fall and Winter are the seasons for wonderful, hearty stews at our house. 'Course, in n.e. Florida, we only have a few spread out days of Fall and a few (also spread out) weeks of Winter.

Ahhh - John Muir, a man with great foresight! We holiday in Glen Nevis (Lochaber, Scotland) every year......................there's no finer place where the work of The John Muir Trust can be seen in action :-).
I like Greek salad as I have grown to love olives--especially the kalmata type. When we visited the Canadian Rockies we ate at a Greek restaurant in Banff on the main drag and liked the food so much we ate there again coming back. We saw Jasper and Canmore as well. All beautiful but I was disappointed because the lakes weren't the color all the photos showed them to be. They were a sort of milky pale green mostly. I was expecting intense turquoise. We only saw one from a mountain top that looked that way in the distance. Visited a glacier but weren't allowed to walk onto it as it was unstable from having melted back to a third its original size. By now it might be gone altogether.
Have a wonderful, peaceful Sunday.
