Toadalove, I love to eat them raw, too. Eat 'em right out of the pod. Haven't thought about it for awhile. Now I need to get me some!

I mix them with a shell pasta, some onions and mayo and parsley too. Makes a great dish!

Sounds great! I have used frozen peas in lots of things, casseroles etc. I have never put the fresh ones in anything--sounds delish!

We usually grow the snow pea, they can be harvested early and use the pods or let them mature & harvest the peas. I try to get and early spring crop and the a fall crop depending on our weather, & my neighbor. They grow on about a 3' from our fence on trellises in a raised bed along w/beans, a cucumber, tomatoes, with pepers and bush beans to help shade them during the heat.
