Lovely castle, well taken care of. Has anyone heard from Aussie or ParsonWayne lately? Getting a little worried, they are usually on everyday. Hope they are not sick. Miss their quotes and puns. Everyone stay safe.
Have dropped aussie an email, two days ago, I think, but no response yet. Her computer may be down again.

I'm getting concerned also. I believe I saw a post from ParsonWayne yesterday, but it's been quite a while since we heard from Aussie. Does anyone have another means of contact for her?

We correspond via email regularly, but I've had no response there, either.

Thank you all so much for your caring thoughts. All is well, the ultrasound was clear but am looking at having a hysterectomy and not too keen on that. I said to my doctor "what if I meet someone else and want to have a baby? " I think he is still rolling around on the floor laughing. Have an appointment with the specialist on 21 Feb. God bless all of you. Hugs.

Hi welcome back, please don't worry so much I had mine in 1975 after six children and have never been sorry, left mastectomy 08, right one 09. not much left for cancer to settle in now, which reduces my worries giving me more time for the fun side of life. To days surgical procedures make recovery so much easier than before. my thoughts will be with you the whole way so from one strong woman to another go for it with positive thoughts.Your California puzzle buddy, Diane

Aussie, one thing they can do now is a vaginal hysterectomy if no exploratory surgery is needed. Faster recovery, no scar. Wish I could have had it done that way - my scar goes from hipbone to hipbone.

I'm so relieved you're back, Aussie! You can tell how much you were missed! So sorry you need a hysterectomy, but surgery has advanced so far, you'll be happy you had it done. I had mine when I was 31 because of a pre-cancerous condition, and it was pretty rough in those days. It took me over 6 months to recover. I had 2 sons, but I really wanted a daughter. Knowing my luck, if we had kept trying for a pink one, we would have ended up with an entire football team! I now have 4 grandsons, and finally got my granddaughter now that I'm too old to pick her up. But she's ADORABLE!! And I'm thankful to be alive to see her. I have my hysterectomy to thank for that.
God bless you, Aussie, with an easy surgery and speedy healing. I pray your friends will be able to be with you through this time, so you have lots of time to relax and do jigsaw puzzles!

Thank you Joyce - I appreciate your kind thoughts. If I have to be away for an extended period again, I will get a message to aknan and she will let you know what is happening. Big hugs to you and God bless.

And Aknan, I have a few battle scars, so another one will not matter - the nurses will be able to play tic tac toe if I get another scar hahahaha. My hip replacement scar had 62 staples in it and goes from my hip to half way down the top of the leg, but it has faded so not so bad any more. Hugs. And thanks for letting everyone know I had not dropped off the planet. Still enjoying the adventurers in Alaska, on the last one now. Hugs.
