Adorable dog, but way too full of energy for this 64 year old lady. I can guarantee that the dog's owner threw that tennis ball at least 15 times before the dog decided to take a short rest. And then the ball play began again...
My neighbour would cry if she saw this picture. She and her husband were away on holidays when Jess (look-a-like here) got sick and had to be put to sleep. That was a couple of years ago and the neighbour is still mourning over Jess. She was a lovely dog.

Aussie - oh I'm so sorry to hear about Jess. We almost bought a border collie. I took a friend of mine and her dog to the vet. While I waited another woman came in for her appt. Two other people went ahead of hers and she spoke to the front desk a couple times. This second time the dog owner sits down next to me and states that there was an emergency situation and a dog had to be euthanized. I kept thinking about this dog and the owner. I finally just lost it. On my walking out the dog I was in tears. My friend knew I was upset and asked what was wrong. I told her what happened. I'm really exicted though - we getting a new puppy. She's not old enough yet so we will be picking her up in April or May. Hubby sent photos of the dog we had and she knew by the photos that we adored that dog!
