It's funny tomandray, I think most dogs are good kissers but I have a great dane that loves to wrap his big long front leg around my shoulder and put his head in my neck. It's sooo sweet. Of course I give him a big hug back.

Awww Talent, that is so sweet. Good story of your buddy. I had my Tasha. We would go out for Sunday drives. She would wrap her front legs over my shoulders to help me drive. She was adorable. Miss her, my angel Tasha. :)

That reminds me of when I brought Bear (great dane) home. I was told he'd ridden in cars a lot but they lied. He jumped in the car with me but did not know what to do. He ended up planting his rear end on the dash on the passenger side and faced backwards. So many people were laughing at us. We had a long ride so I pulled off the freeway and got him to into the backseat. He was much happier there and that's when he wraped his arms around me and put his head on my love. I fell in love.

:) Yes, I did get it. :) Sounds like a sweet dog and he loves all you do for him. He has a happy home. Tasha was a mix Husky/Malamute/German Shepard. Such a sweet girl. She loved giving doggie kisses in the back of my neck, while driving. :))

Tasha was a gift huh? She made you as happy as you made her. I bet she had extremely thick fur.

Oh yest Talent, she did have very thick fur. Every spring and fall her coat would change, lots of shedding. We had "pillows" of fur blowing about. She need lots of brushing. :)

Of course. :) I had a shetland sheepdog and also a Newfoundland so I'm familiar with large amounts fur. Even my short haired dogs shed a lot. I wish they were the same color. One white and one black which means my clothes always show hair on them. Oh well. I think I'll change my wardrobe over to white though because the white hairs show more and they really stick to my clothes. Or maybe grey. My cat is grey, hehe.

Hi Talent, I have a orange tabby Maine Coon cat. She is a sweetie, very gentle...except when we try to comb her tail. Then she growls, but never fights us. Just letting us know she is not a happy cat. :)

I'd love to have a Maine Coon cat but I can't get a new cat while I have my little tabby, SC. She is very afraid of and hates other cats. She loves dogs though. She's got them wrapped around her tiny paws.

Hi Talent, Just got over the flu; today is the first day I can keep my head up and feel like I'm going to fall over. :( So you tabby, SC loves dogs, what happened that she doesn't like other cats? Has she always been that way?

I hope you feel better tomandray. My SC (short for Silvercharm) has always been either been pushed around by an older cat or outright been attacked on a regular basis by a little male kitten. She's seems to have a sign on her "I'm afraid, I have low self-esteem". Cats take advantage. My dogs all 4 she's been with chase her just tiny bit for fun but 99% of the time are gentle & loving moments. She knows now not to run and wait for kisses. :)
