My fiance and I had our 3rd meeting with our pastor on our personalities on how we are alike in some ways but so different in others. And here both thought we were on the same page with everything. What a fun time we had learning more about each other and how to bring trust and love into our marriage. God has blessed me with a man that I truly love and care about as much my beloved Joe.
Sounds like you are going down the right path talking to your pastor. Hope your life together is a happy one.

It's always hard to meet the folks, but you'll handle it just fine. Be your lovely self (that's why he fell in love with you) and everything will go smoothly. Hugs!

Ihave not gone yet aknan. I am leaving the 14th and coming home around the 19th or 20th. It is gong to ne at an 18 hour trip. And we are taking Chip with us. This should be fun. I am excited to meet my new in-laws.
Hello all of you lovely people! I've been doing puzzles daily for about a year, and I feel almost like I know you. Reading about your lives and observing your warm feelings for each other really brighten my day, and mean so much to me. I've been a bit shy about joining in, but I would love to add my comments too here and there. It's been terribly lonely for a while now and it would brighten my days considerably to have new friends!
Bopitextreme --- You've taken the first step --- we'll help with the rest!!! Welcome! Often we're like-minded, with sprinkles of differences which make it interesting. You will become friends with people all over the world. It's great that you took the first step to "getting to know you/us! "

Welcome bopit!! And AUSSIE great to see you! Bopit, I'm in Florida, as are a few of us. People here are very kind. They've helped me through trials they aren't even aware of. It's a haven from the craziness out in the world.

You have now entered into the wonderful world of friendship and support. These men and women have been there for through a lot of trials in my life. I thank God for each and everyone of them.
I really like tile roofs. I'd like one on our house but we got lucky when it was time to replace our roof and insurance paid for a replacement because of a hail storm. We got the same roof we had.
Spent yesterday putting pockets in a jacket and a vest that had none. My nose drips all the time so I need them for carrying tissues.
Hope you get a lucky fix for the stuff that "isn't quite right."
I have a tile roof--expensive to replace. Had it done about 10 years ago--maybe longer than that.
My nose drips all the time--my mothers did also. Always carry kleenex with me. Also have a kleenex box in EVERY ROOM!

I thought that I was the only one with a constant "running nose"...nice to know I am not alone but sorry that you, pixilpixil and you, elijah13, are fellow sufferers of the "dripping nose"! Blessings!

I don't know when the original or latest roof was replaced, if ever. We moved here in 1996. These houses are about 40 years old.

I have to start calling for estimates to replace our roof - ugh. We last got it done in 2004 after being hit with 3 hurricanes. Wish we could afford something longer lasting than asphalt shingles.
Guess I'm not the only one keeping Kleenex in business. We have boxes in every room and one on each side of the sofa and bed. My sister-in-law once complained that Kleenex coupons were always for 3 boxes. Who buys that many she said. We do!

Publix for a while limited you to one box of Kleenex. Everytime I went I got a box. No limit now--but I'm sure they don't want you to take too many. I think I got 2 when I went--the boutique style. The Publix brand went up from.99 to $1.09 but that's better than the name brands.

All this talk of kleenex reminds me of how my Mom would tuck a kleenex into the cuff of her sweater or her pocket....and forget to take it out so we'd have to pick out all the pieces after the dryer. I miss her.

Grocery prices on everything have gone up about 30% from what I've seen around here and anything that disinfects is a lot more.

That drippy nose used to be called "post-nasal drip" and yes, it's chronic. Now, it's "chronic rhino-sinusitis"! Fancy medical term, same situation. When mine gets too irritating, I take an antihistamine and keep going.
