Took a sewing class in High School and my first project was knitting a sweater. It turned out to become a hilarious first and last time I tried a piece of clothing. The size of the pattern was supposed to be a 12, but turned out to become a 38. Did it and undid it several times to no avail. I was better as an adult knitting afghans, although I preferred to crochet.
Very homey puzzle for this time of pretty much forced house "arrest". I have only gone to the store a couple times in the last 14 days. Once to the dentist for a checkup following a very painful infection that occurred from decay under a defective filling. Now there is an extended stay in place order throughout NY State, It takes almost 3 hours to drive to NY City from our small upstate town. However we have noticed that many of the summer camps owned by downstaters are now occupied by these people who are leaving the city in droves. A large house in a very small town near us was rented about a week ago and 4 or 5 families have moved in. Great way to spread the virus. Hopefully this phenomenon is not coming to your small town also. Believe me, you will not be happy if it does.
For us here in Australia it is a hot Autumn day (fall), but soon it will be knitting and crochet weather.
