Harder than I thought it would be. Have had my share of knitting, but no more.
Just got back from the vet with Tabby for her blood work and check-up. She lost weight but eats well. Will have to wait and see on Friday when her blood results come back.
Tabby has lost weight but she eats good. Blood results Friday so will know more. Yes, cats can get diabetes. I go on the Facebook site for hypothyroid information. I have learned much.

Like humans, cats can develop diabetes mellitus, also known as sugar diabetes, a disease that occurs when the body can no longer produce or use insulin properly, says Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine.

They can get diabetes, but thyroid problems can also cause weight loss. My late cat had to have her thyroid meds adjusted a couple times.

Thank you for the info karen, elijah and wordined.
It was fun dealing with all the subtleties of the pastel hues.
My mother always had a knitting project for her spare time --- which was rare sometimes. I think it relaxed her.
I learned to crochet many years ago, and I know I knitted a scarf for a boyfriend in college, and that is the extent of my abilities! My mother could crochet anything! But since a drunk driver killed her in 1985, I just can't do it. Anyway, have a lovely day and blessings to all.
