I couldn't agree more. I don't want to be a Grinch, but it is a tad too early. the stores around here were putting Christmas things in before Halloween. I'm not kidding.

I know - Halloween candy goes out in August, giving some people about 10 weeks to try to satisfy a sweet tooth. Around Labor Day (1st Monday in September), Pumpkin Spiced flavor and scented stuff is put out to make people think of Thanksgiving (4th Thursday in November), but about a week before Halloween, Christmas decorations start slowly appearing. After New Year's come the Valentine's Day stuff, and that's usually replaced with Easter candy and other things as they remove the Valentine's Day stuff that didn't sell.
