I can almost smell them!

BEAUTIFUL lilacs!!!!!! They're one of my FAVORITE flowers!!!!!!!!!

I can enjoy the fragrance of one stalk of lilac, but it is so potent in a bunch that I can't without many sneezes. One day one of my first graders came in and proudly handed me a bouquet of lilacs. I said,
"Oh they are beautiful! Thank you! Would you help me make someone even happier than I am to receive them? " ("Oh, yes! "). "Today is Miss M.'s birthday. Could you take them to her and give her a great big Happy Birthday wish?! " And -- off she went. And everyone was happy! Thankfully Miss M. played along with the birthday ruse!

Pretty. I had these growing behind my house in California. Smelled so nice.

I love lilacs. They look and smell so pretty!

I can remember our lilac tree in Massachusetts. Loved it. None here in Florida.

I love lilacs. I remember enjoying them while walking to school in MT. Unfortunately, they don't grow in AL.
