Like some marriages, the female does most of the work. It's usually the lionesses in a pride that hunt for food, raise the cubs, etc. The male tends to sleep much of the time and eat quite a bit. It's not always the case, but more times than not.
Much like the bi-oped human world. :)) Love that face of hers. She looks like she spotted something "finger lickin' good". :) That's the face I get when I've spotted some really good Belgian Chocolate! :)))

Yep true. The male eats first as well. The lionesses have to wait til he's finished then they eat.
