My yard is still full of leaves that need raking

We had a HUGE maple tree in our backyard when I was growing up. HATED having to rake up all the leaves! My niece now lives in the same home, so it's fun to go back and see everything. Except they had to cut down the tree several years ago as it had rotted inside. Funny, now that it's gone, I miss it, AND all of it's leaves! Anybody else remember the 'stained glass windows' that kids make in school, using crayon shavings and autumn leaves?

Love the Autumn leaves and all the rustic colours, and how the younger end love them and the picture they make with them nature certainatly give us things we can make with the leaves, and it cost nothing. A big thank you team for giving us part of Mother natures rewards.

Love the autumn leaves...in fact, I love Autumn better than Spring. The leaves are turning color and the weather is colder. Being from England I much prefer the Fall. Its nice to get cozy by the fire roasting chestnuts and drinking a warm mug of tea

It was beautiful with all the colors, but that also made it very hard for me.

Beautiful autumn colours just as Canada is beautiful in that season. Lovely.

It was a lovely season! Now that it is the end of October, most of the leaves have fallen from the trees. November can be a very drab, grey month. But at least it is still ok for driving and getting around....before the snow comes, brrrrrr!!!!!

Yes Sunsetsky, I must admit I loved looking at the snow when I was living in Canada, but not real good at driving in it or walking when it was beginning to melt and turn to ice. But do have many fond memories of living in Canada and all the beauty each season brought.
