I hope you get to feeling better soon. It's no fun being sick during the holidays. I caught a cold two years ago and was sick through that Christmas. Hugs!

I hope you feel better! It seems quite a few people are dealing with colds this holiday season - Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip both had to cancel holiday travel because of colds.
Keep hydrated, take some cold medicines - hopefully you have some on hand. Get plenty of rest, enjoy some chicken soup and you know the rest of the routine.

I'm glad you're feeling better - keep in mind, bronchitis isn't something to ignore. If you haven't seen a doctor, you probably should. I haven't had bronchitis for a while, thankfully, but I think the last time I did, I had to use an inhaler and take cough syrup with morphine in it because codeine didn't stop my coughing. For several years, bronchitis for me was like Christmas, an annual occurrence.

Glad you are doing better Aussie (Hazel). My hubby and I are both sick now. He has a severe acute case of Bronchitis which puts him back on his O2 for as much as he can. I have a head cold but I feel it in my chest also. maybe getting sick together we will get better at the same time. He cannot afford a new case. I pray that everyone on here who is sick gets better soon and those who are not sick, please stay healthy.

I took some Seminary classes online one year and my computer crashed as I was ready to take my final exams. Got it working again. "Justin Time" was able to get it working again for me.

At least you made it through I am still struggling especially with Theology and education lessons coming up starting on the 16th. What a way to start my 60th birthday. God has led me this far. More power to you mamag, I was never much for studying but excelled in English and Maths. I still add up my groceries without the aid of a calculator and more often than not come up with the right answer!! Hugs.

Parson Wayne, I will be doing math again probably in my next semester or two. I am terrible with math and I failed it miserably when I was studying for my associates. I do not look forward to it.

I spent part of October in Israel one year and was able to help some young Israelis build a roof over the place where the family would live for a week. I helped nail some of the branches that they could not reach.
Hanukkah begins at midnight tonight (Dec. 24), so, if you celebrate, Happy Hanukkah! Hanukkah and other Jewish holidays are based on a lunar calendar, as is the Islamic calendar, which is why the Jewish and Islamic holidays appear to be at different times of the year.

Due to damage and or loss of homes due to flooding my family has scaled down gift giving. we plan to do games and singing instead of exchanging presents.
Family Is much more important than gifts. Have an enjoyable and blessed time with your games and singing. I often wished my family had a tradition of singing Christmas Carols at home on Christmas eve. No piano, no voice, no bucket to carry a tune in. We did have some nice traditions however.

We had a blast. We played a Christmas song game that had everyone laughing. You write down 7 numbers between 1 and 25 and put a Christmas song title by each. No one can use Jingle Bells. The caller calls numbers. You must sing the song by the number. When you have sung all your songs you sing Jingle Bells.
