In one respect the lifeguard tower is fun. On the other hand it is a blight on the beach and the view.

These are fairly small mountains for up here, elijah - only around 2500' to 4000' on the front range, up to 7000' - 14000' for the rest. They are beautiful at any time of year. Right now, covered in snow and silhouetted against a bright blue sky; in 4 months, they'll be green and the sunrise will be in the north.

That looks like a happy place. I'd guess that when the sun is fully up and it is warm, people would be swarming that beach.

I wouldn't mind being there right now! It is sunny but cold and windy here. It is 8 F with a wind chill of -7 F. Brrrr!!!
