I'm with you Aussie. I was so happy when hubby and I left the trailer court and now we have a trailer we went from a friend at church with about 5 acres and our nearest neighbor is close enough to see but we can't hear each other.

Couldn't agree more. Our first two homes had acreage but the one we have been (stuck) in for over 30 years is in a long narrow yard with the neighboring house close enough to look into my bedroom window. I hope we never have to move into a retirement home. I don't think I could stand it and I've seen a really gorgeous one from the inside.

Mamag sounds like a great place to live. Not sure if you got my message about Lyn. She is currently living with her daughter while waiting for a place to become vacant in a retirement village. Her daughter is not being very nice to her. So sad. Hugs.

I did get the message on Lyn and her situation. I don't know why kids have to be so mean to parents It is so heartbreaking. I am having issues with my own son. I know he is busy with his job and family, but he hardly ever calls. He can go out and fun but can't pick up a phone??? What is going on these days? I have another issue with Jake's girlfriend. I still am not allowed to see my granddaughter as her mother is still being mean. Emma turned 9 yesterday and I have not seen her in 4 years, it will be 5 in December. I did nothing but cry most of the day. I have a big assignment due today and a test and last night I had a hard time focusing on it. I did write to my professor and she is so understanding. I sent a part of it in and she says I am off to a good start and just to finish it up and keep up the good work.
She is giving me an extra day or two to finish it up. I do want to get it done today so I can start week 4 of my classes. thank you for listening. I can always count on you. Sory for the ranting. have a blessed day and sending God's blessings your way. {{{{{HUGS}}}}

So sad mamag - my daughter has very little to do with me. I had not heard from her for over five years and wrote trying to sort things out. She took everything I said and twisted it to make it look bad and then surprisingly I got a Christmas card from her last year she had signed it "the Godbold family" (so impersonal). Then mother's day this year rolled around and no word from her but a posting of a pic on facebook with her family and her mil which said "having way to much fun on Mother's Day". My granddaughter is now 18 and my grandson almost 17 and they do not know who I am. But I continue to pray for their salvation and a softening towards God and me and that one day we will once again be a family. God bless you mamag, I certainly know how yu feel. Hugs.

People get caught up in their own issues and forget to consider how their lack of communication hurts. My mother would often tell me how she wished my brother would call her. He is still not especially communicative but email has helped. Maybe try emiling your son so he can answer at his convenience. It's not as nice as a phone call but better than nothing, mamag. I will pray this helps.
