ASKING FOR PRAYERS. It seems like all of California is on fire again this year. Specifically, where I live in Mendocino County, Nor Cal, and the adjoining Lake County are raging out of control. There are two fires very near where I live - within 25 miles - that are 15, 000 - 20, 000 acres and less than 10% contained. Family members have been forced to evacuate. My sister is under mandatory evacuation orders but refuses to leave. So far the fires remain on "the other side of the mountain" but that could change with a shift in the wind. My daughter is still living with me because she was displaced by the nearby fire last year. Her daughter is not maintaining very well emotionally after having been through that and now this. Please join us in heartfelt prayers that the fires be stopped before it can do too much more damage or more loss of life. Thank you all very much. My prayers are also with darambo and all those involved in the Redding fire. A friend of my granddaughter is helping to fight that fire.
