Nearing Memorial Day and soon after, school will close for the summer. Enjoyed school vacation, but how excited to start a new term and buying brand new supplies.
School time now. I wonder if any homework is turned in that is written in long hand or is it all neatly printed up from a computer and a printer?
School makes me think about Daylight Saving Time. This year, 2014, clocks revert back to standard time--except in Arizona. We don't recognize DST in this state--which makes it a little confusing sometimes. If I have a medical appointment in Nevada (about 35 mi.), I have to really tax my brain to not show up two hours late! Nevada is on Pacific time and Ariz. is on Mountain standard (all year! ) Sigh. : -(
Heck. I forgot to mention DST ends on Nov. 2 this year.

That is too much to remember. I will watch my computer and it will tell me when to change my clocks, and change the batteries in my smoke alarms.

Starrphyre, did I get that right? You are from Arizona. I'm still looking from someone from Nevada.

The local weather channel here that we watch will remind us for the time change & to ckeck out smoke alarms and our weather radios for the full week before. It is great because it reminds me to get new batteries.

Annie1749, yes, I am in northwestern Arizona, roughly about 100 mi. south of Las Vegas, Nevada, and the Grand Canyon and that spectacular new bridge, The Mike O'Callaghan Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge which is an arch bridge in the United States that spans the Colorado River between the states of Arizona and Nevada.

The furthest west I have been from Michigan is Iowa and that was about 35 years ago. I rode with a friend going there and had my first plane ride coming home. I'll have to Google that bridge, it sounds amazing. Have a good day Starrphyre.
Thank you team for this one, been away for a relaxing break, to two yorkshire sea sides and the weather was great, nice to be looked after for A CHANGE, weather was great, but the only thing there were plenty of hills, but one gets into the swing of things and does feel better for the exercise, now rearing to go with the jigsaws.I do enjoy these stationary ones, thank you team for this one.
