Love the colors.
Beesting from 2 days ago is swelling up and itchy. I'll be glad when it's thru running it's course. Can't figure what I did to get it mad. No hives on th property I know of and I water from that spot all the time. Oh well.
Enjoy the heat if you can. Summer is already half gone. How I hate seeing the days get shorter.
Find joy where you can and try to make it last. There's little enough of it around these days.
Pixi, if you have some Benedryl gel, rub a little on the sting to help it go away and stop the itch. If you don't have that, an aspirin, tylenol or antihistamine tablet crushed and made a paste with a little water will also work. Best if down just after the sting, but it still works.

I never thought of making a topical paste with antihistamine. I'll keep that in mind. I did take antihistamine pills. It's almost all gone now, thank God. Thanks for the unique approach. If I get stung again I'll try it.

Our family doc back in the 50s told my Mom to do that when my brother was severely stung by bumblebees. It worked, but he was left with an allergic reaction to stings of any kind. Carried an Epi-pen for years, but where they run ATVs and such now, he's 2 hours away from a hospital, so he just ignores the pests and they seem to ignore him.

My family always made a past of baking soda and water for bee stings. Simple things you always have around. It worked well, too.

Good night and God bless. Stay safe. Hugs.
