Sure does, if fact I think the whole window area may be painted on for interest, or the cat & butterflies are painted on the shutters. Looks like the planter & the rest are real.

Butterflies & kitty are painted on for sure but I think the shutters are real. I see hinges on the left side of all three.

I saw that too, but how would you open them all at once without covering at least two, unless the whole thing folded & went to one side or they just put real hinges on to make it look real.

Yes Jamie T, the cat and butterflies are painted on. But the shutters do seem to open-up. The hinges are real, they open from right to left...each one of them, but I do not see a knob or handle within photo range. There should at least be a leather strap nailed onto the shutters to get them open. Just a thought. :))

How would the middle one open without knocking over the flower box?

I've been wondering that too. Not so sure that the painter was really good & the flower box is not real either. The more I've looked at it I think the whole window is painted on with excellent shading, too look real.

The more I look at it, maybe they remodel the inside & took out the window, but didn't want to reside the outside of the house so they just covered it with a large painting.

Now that is an interesting idea....a remodel. That is quite possible. Now I have to do the puzzle again and enlarge it. :)

Did the puzzle again, expanded the picture. The "artwork" does look like it was dropped into the original framing of a window that quite probably does not exist anymore. Interesting! :) Good eye CatLadyOKC. :)

Tomandray: How's going with you? Thought of that since a one time when my parents lived in AK and the afternoon sun was so bright she could hardly stand it (her kitchen window), but she had a friend that did beautiful stained glass work & she made her two panels that fit the window and not only was it beautiful, but really cut the sun down. Her kitchen was on the front side of her house, so it looked really good from the street & you couldn't see thru at night with the light on.

Hi CatLadyOKC, We're alright, still missing the KitKat, but doing better. Tom is taking her loss a bit harder. She was his pal. They sat and watch TV together. Getting on with everyday life.

Crickett is doing fine now, had him to the vet last week and he has a hyper thyroid, put him on a chewable tablet (1/2 am-1/2 pm) and surprise, surprise he loves them...he will have to stay on these, need to get him on our script plan. He is really doing much better now. Dennis will be a mess if something happens to him. I'm okay if Dad is busy. Trying to get the yard cleaned up, but the storms are not helping looks like we have several again next week. Have the oldest grandauhter here this moring, she is not feeling well (possible her supper last night didn't agree with her). She has a new job & has to drive from Norman to the N. side of OKC, didn't make it this morning. Almost 22 & is VERY independent. Keep in touch.

Hi CatLadyOKC, So glad Crickett is doing fine and like his meds. Nothing worst than a cat that won't take the meds. >^-^< Good thing you found out he was hyper thyroid, he would have gotten very skinny.
I'm curious, how can you get Crickett on your script plan? He's a cat. :))

I was just kidding about the cat on the script ins., but they do offer ins. plans here for pets. He jhad lost weight and just acting funny was why we took him in, but is doing much better, starting to put some weight back on. Got out for awhile this afternoon & got some leaves picked up, still need to do lots more, but they are forecasting rain & storms starting tomorrow thru Wed or Thur. so I'll be shut down again outside, so guess I'll try to get some cleaning inside this week. Temps have been up there 70's & low 80's. A/C is running now. Granddaughter was able to get in to our Dr. this morning and he fixed her up, she says she is already feeling better. Welcome to my nice quiet life....

Hi CatladyOKC, :)) I've seen ads for pet insurance. Crickett lost weight, sure sign of hyper-thyroid. So glad he is putting on weight. The weather here is odd, humid and then rain in the afternoon. The blueberry festival is going on, not good for that. More rain for tomorrow, 50%. So glad your granddaughter is feeling better. Hope your weather improves, but at least you'll get thing done inside. For me, it's laundry day tomorrow, even though it's Sunday. If it rains, I just move up laundry day. Monday will be the day I get out. Enjoy your Sunday. :))

I need to do some laundry today, if I get the clothes downstairs, sorted then hubby will run them thru washer & dryer and I get to fold it and put it away. We take Crickett back in 3 weeks, so he can get his weight and adjust the tab if need be. He is really doing real well with this med. He has his catatude back again...It rained most of the morning here yesterday (with lightening), today it's not suppose to start until late the eveing, but they are showing showers all week. This is pretty nornal for us, if the temps are nice so you can get outside it's raining, if it get nice the temps go down & to cold out for us to work outside. Things are pretty wet to try & do anything outside today.

Hi CatLadyOKC, Glad to hear Crickett got his catatude back again. :)) >^-^< :)) Always difficult when they get sick; they can't tell us what is wrong. Keep me posted. :) The showers we thought we would get today, didn't happen. It was hot, 88 degrees. Slow day for me today, did all my work on Sunday. I thought we would go out, but that didn't happen, hubby was not feeling well. Think it was something he ate. Made him 1/2 a sandwich around 6p, seemed to do okay. Hopefully we will get out tomorrow to get our grocery shopping done. Got to get out in the morning. Weatherman said possible showers in late p.m. Have you heard from Hockeyfan? No, haven't heard from Hockey fan for awhile, meant to ask you about that...hope she is okay! Have been trying to brush Crickett some each day, he is just removing whole tuffs full, we have had several days of 80's, but it is good to see him grooming again. Cleaned upstairs today (removed lots of tuffs, including those on my bed), need to get to grocery tomorrow early, hubby has hair cut at 11:30 am. going to the big store (they have a better selection of cat food) also can get tossed salad, pasta salad, & sandwiches for us that are to lazy to cook, they aren't too bad & will pick up a few extras to add to them. Rainy here today, not suppose to rain tomorrow but then will start again with the rain for several days. Cool overnight, but the days have been hot, have the A/C on the last couple of weeks. Levi said he planned to get out next week to check the A/C our, he checks it fall and spring. Dennis ran into him when he was getting are filters for it. I just got thru last week cleaning and changing all the air cleaners & shut down the humidfiers.
Will give Crickett and good rub from you....
