Online puzzle of Vincent van Gogh's Still Life with Oleander painted in 1888. The famous painting is an oil on canvas depicting a vase of oleander flowers on a table next to a book.
I like Van Gough's paintings from this period. If this was real life, my cats would knock over the vase and send the books to the floor. They can be evil little critters..
Another Van Gogh painting that everyone in the world seems to think is fabulous--but me. I have zip art appreciation credentials, just seem to know what I like. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder--right?
Oops. Didn't realize that I commented twice--and both times not so positive. Oh well, at least I am truthful.

That is all ok! We all have different tastes and that is a good thing!

Yes step to the beat of your own drummer! Oleanders are native to Galveston County, TX. They are very poisonous, as a child we would hide and seek, I could not hide in them(the Best spot) was highly allergic. They have very pointy leaves and wonderful smelling flowers.

I am a fan of surrealist painters, especially Salvador Dali. Some do not get him at all. My mind seems to work like his. This painting is nice, but....not enough going on in it.
