These origami creations just blew me away! Wish I had the knack to accomplish this kind of art.

When my Dearly Beloved had colon cancer surgery & chemo, his barber, a Japanese lady, made him 100 origami cranes. Each crane held 100 prayers for him. We still have them - and the 10, 000 prayers worked, as he is completely healed.

Two things I would like to learn before I depart this world - origami and quilling.

Good night and God bless. Hugs.

I have done both. Origami is not too hard to do simple things, but more complicated are more difficult as with all things. Quilling is very satisfying, but quite difficult. I did some simple quilling when I was much younger and I haven't done it since. It was that hard. I don't have the patience. But I appreciate both skills. Anything done by hand impresses me.

Don't care to learn either. The thing I really want to know how to do is to "conquer" this computer and how to do all the things I want to know and don't know how to do them.

I would LOVE to know how my husband can lose things so fast, like in a minute or less. It drives me crazy. Hope you have a wonderful day, elijah13!

Aussie, I bought a small quilling kit at a craft store. It is really fairly simple, except the outlining of the picture which requires setting paper strips on edge and making them stay that way! Quick drying glue is essential, God bless and hugs to you!

Aussie, I just wait until my niece comes over and she helps me. Sent 5 rugs out to be cleaned and she is coming over tomorrow and we might arrange some furniture while I just have the pads on the floor. They are much easier to move.
