I think that if your life were perfect, it would eventually become very dull and uninteresting.
I googled around to see why roof corners in Chinese buildings curve up...here are some answers:
Not all do and it became a style adapted from Thailand as an aesthetic choice.
For good luck to make it hard for any demons to land on it.
To let in more light in the winter while maintaining a very deep eave to keep the rain off the building.

Not sure I like September any more, yesterday was the 7th anniversary of the biggest mistake I ever made, birthday on 12th and he walked out of my life on the 16th four years ago and only three years into our marriage. Sounds like a mini-series lol. Hugs nborchardt.
