Nonobjective or abstract, I love this painting and I really enjoyed doing this puzzle. I also came in 3rd place on a classic 108 which is a milestone for me. And I don't think someone just slapped some paint on this canvas.
An additonal coment on the "nonobjective" (called Abstract by others).
Regarding just "slaping paint on the canvas. I paint this way, You first pick any color and then add complementing colors based on the primary selection. This kind of painting is fun to do because the artist is surprised by the finished work. Ask if you have any questions.
I'm surprised, but I kind of like this painting. What I'm bemused about is whether it takes any kind of talent or artistry to paint abstracts. To my way of thinking, it's just someone slapping paint on canvas without any deep thought. I could be wrong.
Hi Tshep.....Just want to let you know this is not an abstract painting but a non-objective painting. Abstract is developed from form with dramatic accents. If you stare at the painting for a bit a form develops created by your brain. Every one sees something unique. Enjoy the surprise! Arlenez

Hello arlenez. Thank you for sharing that. It gets confusing when you do not know the right terminology. Well, I learned something new. Have a blessed day. :-)
Elijah, surprised by your comment. If you can tolerate it I wrote an explanation about the image. Read my comment about the different art techniques.

Just not my type of a picture to do. However, everyone has their way of expressing things. I only did it because it was one of the puzzles of the day or one they picked for you.

What is a boat captain's favorite amusement park ride? The ferry-go-round! Hope your day is great!
