This is my fastest time that I have ever done a puzzle. Good to hear from all you folks, esp. those from Down Under. I enjoy all your messages. God bless you all. I'm praying for everybody. Take care, Nancy
Hi Nancy and welcome. You would be surprised at how many Nancys there are on here lol. Could start a "Nancy" club. It is a great site and lots of lovely people on here. Hugs from Australia.

I bet I'm the only one with an OFS behind her name. It stands for Office of Franciscan Seculars, which is a lay Franciscan. Do you know how to change the icon? I don't want an ice cream cone, I want a hummingbird or a butterfly. I wish they would let you pick them and not pick them for you. Hugs and God bless, Nancy
Pretty scary on the island these past few days with fires and in the suburb in which I live. Smoke everywhere including all though the house and the fires died down yesterday but flared up again today bringing them very close to my home.
Sending prayers for you all that are in the path of the fires.

Prayers for your safety, the safety of your neighbors, the fire fighters, and your homes. Smoke inhalation is very unhealthy, Aussie, so if you have somewhere you can escape it, might be a good idea to lock up and get away if you can. Hugs surround you.

Oh. goodness, aussie! My prayers for your safety and for the firefighters, too. It's no fun to be inundated with smoke - and the smell is awful. Even in the heat, you don't want to open your windows. Small shallow bowls of vinegar will help if the smell lingers in your house. Just set them around like incense.
Please be safe, my friend. Heavy prayers going out!

Great scott! You certainly have my prayers for your safety and for the end of the fires. Do you have any fans you could set up to blow the smoke out of the house?

Thank you mamag and trynfindit. Fans in almost every room, but the smoke was pretty intense. Seems to have settled down this morning. Hugs.

You prayed for me as I faced fire. How could I not pray for you? May the fire be put out soon. Smoke is a killer too! What a horrible time you are having.

Our prayers are with you as we also know how it is. Paradise is just 40 minutes from us and we could see the fire from our house. Be safe

Prayers, Aussie. Just stay safe...and if you can, maybe clear out the bathroom of smoke. Put a chair in there, grab a book or knitting (or crochet) and just chill. It has to get better. Hugs!

It is much bettr this morning, but wonder in the process of the fire what exactly was burned as there is a sweet almost sickly smell in the air this morning and I feel strangely relaxed hahahaha. Hugs taffi.

Oh yeah, we had a lot of that smell in our fires too! It just gave me a headache.
I think it's white paint. For my eyes, there's just a hint of tan in it. However, you had me going back to look, as I had never thought of the possibility.

I tried looking at it close-up and can't tell either.
Reminds me of school when we each had to bring in an 8 color paint box that we might use 3-4 times in the school year! I loved painting with these, but the teachers not so much!! Have a great day and weekend and if you are in the path of the gigantic winter storm that is suppose to barrel through the States tonight and tomorrow, please stay safe.
Your prayers would be appreciated.
Good night and God bless. Hugs.
Please be safe, my friend. Heavy prayers going out!
