Never tried "brick". Will have to investigate more. Right now thinking about the "hurricane". Aunt and her husband coming coming tomorrow to help me prepare. Last hurricane electricity out 6 days. Don't need that again--and I was well then and could do things, which I can't do now. Wish us Floridians luck! It is supposed to cover most of the state.

Will be praying for you that it doesn't come in and take your electricity out or any other damage. We are in south NC..We have had lots of wind but have been lucky. When we moved here 28 years ago there was a house next street down had tarp on roof from last storm but not any other damage that I know about. I hate hurricanes. I think the highest wind was 80 mph.

Oh elijah13, I AM thinking about you, and hope you weather the storm well. I'm so glad to hear folks are coming to help you. Thank God. If the power goes out, we'll know that's why we haven't heard from you, but please do check in with us as things progress; I and all of your friends here will be very eager to know if you are safe.
