Hope you are feeling better darambo. Didn't get much sleep last night, I think I had a touch of food poisoning and if I didn't have to go out today, I would stay home, but unfortunately must go out (out of pills lol) Hugs.

Aussie, it's not me who has been sick. Ed's prostate cancer apparently has come back. So this has caused me to a great deal of stress because they are not jumping on this, instead the doctor wanted to start with antibiotics just in case there is some sort of infection. This is exactly what they did the last time. When they finally did a biopsy they found a very aggressive form of cancer so they did very aggressive radiation, 5 days a week for 5 weeks. They literally killed his prostate gland. So because of this we never expected this to return. He goes to the doctor again next week, maybe then they will get on the ball and get something useful done. The stress of this is getting to me, plus his mother is driving us crazy he just had to take her for her first cataract surgery, she can't depend on her other kids so she has him do everything and does not even think about what he has going on. Plus to add to the mess our nephews oldest boy who is 18 was shot 10 times by the police in Idaho last week. The short story we got was he was beat up by white supremacists ( he is half black) and the next night he got a pistol went and shot one of the guys who beat him, the police showed up and he pointed the gun at the police and fired a shot and the cops shot him. If this is what happened he caused this all this himself. He has been a wannabe gangbanger and in trouble before, also arrested was a guy who came to help him, was from Spokane. A couple years ago one of our nephews committed suicide and this kid told his father (our other nephew) that the wrong brother died so he has had no contact with this side of the family because we are white. He had to have both legs amputated was hit in the bladder, the abdomen and I'm not sure where else. Not sure he will make it or not. And to top everything off after almost 2 years of no seizures, they have returned....maybe stress?? So now I cannot get my drivers license back, have to start over at square one again!!! Sorry for venting, seems like just I hold everything in until I can't hold anymore then it all spills out,,,, sorry. You all stay safe.

Darambo, what a tale of woe! So sorry you have to go through al this - Ed & the cancer, his mom & no sibling support or empathy, your own stress levels and your nephew's son on top of it all! I can only commend all your problems to God and ask that He give you the support, ease and comfort that can only come from Him. My prayers for all of you.

Thanks so very much Aussie, you mean the world to me. Ed is hanging in there, he sees the doctor again next week, hopefully by then they have some kind of game plan worked out. Our nephew's son has been a gang member so he knew what he was getting into, also not the first time he has been in trouble.....only this time he paid the price with his legs!! I think I have reached the end of my rope and don't know how long I can hang on. Be safe my friend.

I'm not flying either

Elijah --- Age is a factor (for me too! ) but the airline industry has a lot to do with it. Air travel is not fun anymore --- it's more like work --- unsatisfying work. It gets you there faster than other means, but not enjoyably.

I totally agree. I do surveys and am keeping one of the Southwest ones because I can get things other than miles. I am not doing JetBlue anymore even tho I had lots of points on it. No sense doing them if I can't use them.
