Sorry to hear about the arthritis in your fingers aussie. My hubby has a lot of trouble with that too and he likes to try and keep his hands warm.

I bought some compression gloves and wear them to bed. Takes away the pain and helps me to sleep. Hugs trynfindit.

When I worked in a nursing home, a woman with disfiguring, painful Rheumatoid arthritis experienced much relief from an operation. Her fingers each had a gold rod inserted into them. I do not remember whether the thumbs were done, as well. She was quite happy with the pain relief that this afforded her. Check into this online if your hands can handle it. I wondered where you had disappeared to. Prayed for you. Glad to see you are back.

I used to live in Rota in Cadiz province. mid to late 70's. Loved the area. Central part reminds me of where I live in Texas Hill Country. Hope we both get some rain this autumn.

Good morning all. Orinoco I'm sure you need rain and if I could I would send some of the rain we have gotten over to you. We have been hot with thunderstorms, some rain and a little hail. So far this morning I don't see or feel them coming in. I always feel them before I see them. My husband teases me, says I should be a weatherman that my storm predictions are more accurate than the ones that are reported by the professionals. We went to the doctor yesterday, Ed had to have a scan to see where and how bad his cancer is, this time. After he had prostate cancer and had so much radiation...45 days, we never expected the cancer to return, but it has. Will find out the rest of the bad news next week when he returns to his doctor. Ed's Mom went with us and she told us her prayer circle has added him to their prayers, which is most welcome and surely won't hurt, just the opposite will help as much or more than the doctors. Hope everyone has good weather and are well this week. Be safe all.

We have been getting some high temps here in my part of Va.as well. I had 110 on my back deck a few days ago. We are just getting hit and miss showers. It is supposed to cool down some. I sure do hope so.
