Hmmm. Do I have this right? Apparently, the latest fad for adults is coloring books. Amazon is selling them--for adults. I saw a massive display of crayons, markers, colored pencils, paints, etc. at the grocery store. I know that it is "back to school" time, but I think maybe they have jumped on the "current rage" campaign. I think jigsaw puzzles are much more "satisfying..?.." than coloring. You think?

I do like jigsaw puzzles better, but those coloured pencils do look tempting.

I LOVE adult coloring books, especially the geometric designs! I use fine tip markers. It's very relaxing- you can just zone out for awhile! But, yes, it's back to school supply time at all the stores also! We just spent a fortune on the huge supply list my 7th grade grandson had. You should try the coloring thing!

I have always enjoyed both. When I was young I used to color in my Christmas coloring book every Christmas Eve while laying on the floor by the Christmas Tree. When I got too old and arthritic for that I sat at the kitchen table with Christmas music playing. For some reason I stopped that a few years ago. And obviously I still enjoy jig saw puzzles both on line and the real ones.

Children here have started school. High school football is beginning. The temperature is 98 degrees but summer is over.
There is something relaxing about coloring. I enjoy doing things like coloring people blue or red, hair green or orange, bushes purple, that sort of thing.
Whether they are colored pencils for adults or kids, this is the time of the year that all remember the fun of getting new school supplies and heading back to the classroom. I thoroughly enjoyed the puzzle.
I loved that this pencil holder held so many different sharpened and apparently used pencils. One or two looked like they were broken (like the grey one on the end). Fun and colorful!
Perhaps these belong to a designer, decorator, artist, architect, or one of many jobs where a person might need to use color pencils. I wonder how much of those jobs have been taken over by computers.

The children have finished their first week of school so everything is getting back to normal at work.
Even if I did fall asleep lol
