Hi CatLadyOKC, Hope you had a pleasant Mother's Day, mine was quiet. It is a rest day for me. A bit blue today as I miss my girls. You must be missing Crickett. But you do have your "kids" and grand kids. Hope they called or visited you. Enjoy your evening....Oh by the way, I heard from HockeyFan, she is doing good. :)

Our daughter this take good of us! Son calls; he is working in Texas. Grandchildren do lots for us. We hardly get out of house.

It's a tough life being a mother and it also has many rewards.
You will never be forgotten by your children, regardless of how the relationship turned out. It's hard to imagine what your life would be like without this commitment. I'll give you a hint you can pass on to your female friends who are not sure whether to bear children or not, adopt if you have no prospects by the time you are fifty or more. Why? There is no way to know for sure how close you will be to the rest of your family. As a always single woman with no children and a Senior, I find family members drift off if you have no children. They are just not that interested in you unless you have children. Strange huh? Plus, after you reach a certain age everyone offers Happy mother's day to you assuming at a certain age you must have had children. Always ask someone first if they are a mother or not besides the assumption you must be a mother this female may have had a child die. Ok/ Get it. Mother's Day and my birthday often bump into each other, grrrr!
Beautiful flowers. Now we need a vase! Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there. Rainy and dreary here today but not going very far--to a friends house to chat awhile.
