Good morning everyone, hope you all have a wonderful day. I just hate flying - don't like heights. Two days ago my hubby got stung by a yellow jacket again, this is the second time in less than 2 weeks, the first time he got it in the eyebrow, this time on his neck, luckily we still have plenty of benadryl pills and cream. In the 44 years since we married he has never been stung and then to have it happen twice in 2 weeks, poor guy, so very swollen, whole neck all the way down to his upper chest. As usual I have an old movie on, one of my favorites " How Green Was My Valley " with Maureen O'Hara and Walter Pidgeon. Really love this movie. You all stay safe.
You, also, darambo. I love the old movies, too. My favorites are "Gone With the Wind", "To Kill a Mockingbird", and "Casablanca".

You're right and there's Jimmy Stewart's "Shenandoah". I also have "The Snows of Kilamanjaro". And we could go on!!! ! Have a great day
As a twenty year air force veteran. I have logged more air miles than mot do in a lifetime. Funny I really do not care too much about flying any more. Why push my luck
Thank you for 20 years of your service. I have no interest in flying, although I would love to go see parts of Europe, especially Holland, Finland, and Sweden. It would fulfill a dream my son had before he passed away.

Thank you for your service! A neighbor is a pilot and he flies for a major airline. He was suppose to fly the plane in 9/11 that went down in PA. He decided to switch at the last moment with a colleague. His heart sank when he heard the news.
I was always petrified of flying. But when my stepson was having trouble in school I promised him that, if he graduate, I'd get in an airplane and come to his graduation. He graduated and his dad and I flew out to attend his graduation. Since then I've flown 5 or 6 other times. I'm never really happy to do so but, if they're long flights, I take Dramamine and sleep through most of it.
Probably won't go on one like this anymore. However, if I do, I usually try to go on Southwest! Might go somewhere on my nephews plane, but that's about all. My body tells me I am out of "traveling mode". Glad I did my trips as soon as I retired.
